Built for Driving

  Shooting at Peacemaker Studios gives productions the control, realism, and efficiency that can be difficult to achieve on location. Instead of managing street closures, traffic, weather, changing light, and unpredictable public environments, productions can create realistic driving and location-based scenes inside a controlled studio setting. 

Unlike simple backdrops or single-panel setups, Peacemaker’s LED volume surrounds the vehicle with properly scaled environments, reflections, ambient light, and visual context, helping the scene feel integrated rather than staged. This produces a more convincing result for camera, especially for driving scenes where window reflections, shadows, movement, and lighting continuity matter.

Our central Coquitlam location also keeps productions close to the major studio network across the Lower Mainland, reducing travel time and logistical complexity. For driving work, Peacemaker can also capture your plate footage directly. The same technician who captures the driving scene also runs the playback on our LED volume, ensuring the footage is shot with the final studio use in mind and maintaining quality from capture through production.

The new Peacemaker Studios facility is a 7,000 square foot studio facility and is designed to support virtual production, plate playback, process work, specialty inserts, technical surveys, camera testing, and other LED volume workflows.

The studio features two large 35x18-foot LED walls and four large rolling LED walls, allowing productions to configure the space around the specific needs of the scene, and includes three flex/green rooms and a large multi-use room usable for catering.

The facility is production-friendly, with both ground-level loading access and dock-height loading access, making it easier for grip, lighting, camera, art department, and technical teams to move equipment in and out efficiently.
